Hello!  Wow, we have made it through January already!  That means it's time for a new Fan Club Christmas Challenge!  All the Challenge Details can be found HERE

To make my card, I used the PFS Slimline Die Cutting System.  I positioned the tree die three times for the top layer.  The bottom layer was created with Cornflower Blue Paper Glaze and a paper towel.  Next, I die cut Winter Snowflakes from glitter paper.  Lastly, I stamped Merry Wishes from Believe in Magic.

I hope you have a fabulous week.  Remember, it's never too soon to work on your winter cards!

Hello!  One of my favorite challenges at Splitcoaststampers is the Featured Stamper.  Each week the challenge focuses and celebrates one person at Splitcoaststampers.  It's so much fun to connect with other stampers and celebrate them.  A note about Splitcoaststampers in case you don't know about it.  It's a free online site open to everyone!  It's a fabulous place to learn new techniques and make friends!  I love the personal gallery where I can feature every card I create.  If you have never stopped by Splitcoaststampers or if it's been a long time since you stopped by, I hope you will give it a try!

With this card, I am celebrating Gayle, our newest Featured Stamper!  She has a beautiful card in her gallery featuring a SU! girl in red.  For my card, I colored Alice Girl, the newest girl at Picket Fence Studios, and the coordinating die. (I love coordinating dies for quick and easy scene-building!)  I lightly stamped the microphone in gray and added a sentiment from Do Good Recklessly.  Lastly, I sprinkled Spiked Cider Sequins Mix.

Thanks so much for stopping by today and I hope you will join us at Splitcoaststampers!

More Picket Fence Studios Release Day Goodness

Hello crafty friends!  Yesterday was the Picket Fence Studios January Release Day and today I am over at the Picket Fence Studios Blog sharing a couple of new Release cards so I thought I would share them here too!   This release is so huge that you are going to have to check it all out HERE at the store!  But before you go, I have a few samples to share with you!

I have another slimline to share only this time I have switched the orientation.  For the background, I have stamped the 4x4 Falling hearts and then I added a top layer using circles from the Slim Line Die Cutting System. I made a faux shaker by simply adding a sprinkle of Green Fairy Sequins to each circle.  I die cut the new Always sentiment out three times and stamped LOVE from Wild Peonies.  Wild Peonies only a beautiful floral set but it also has wonderful sentiments too.   Lastly, I have my card resting on the new Slim Line Neutral envelopes!

There is so much more to see!  I haven't even touched on the new Gem Mixes, the 1 oz jars  or half the new stamps and dies so for a look at the entire January Release stop by HERE.

Thanks so much for stopping by and taking a look today!

January Picket Fence Release

Hello crafty friends! Welcome to the Picket Fence Studios January Release Day!  There are new stencils, sequin mixes, stamps, dies, and a brand new line of gems and slimline envelopes! Oh, my goodness, this release is so huge that you are going to have to check it all out HERE on the website!  But before you go, I hope you will check out a few samples I created for you!    So let's jump to it!

First up, I created a Slimline card with the Slim Line Die Cutting System and the Slim Line Dashes Stencil.  The sentiment and envelope image is from Crafty Lifestyle.  We all know that to craft or not to craft is never the question!  :)  The pens and marker are from a little set called Color Like a Bird Sings.  The staging behind the card is from the NEW Slim Line Rainbow Envelope line and for fun, I added a dash of the new Green Fairy Sequins.

When the card is flipped around it has a fun surprise!  I added the lovely poem describing why we make cards and a few images from the Oh, So Many Cards set.  The set includes several watermarks to place on the back of the card that will go with your signature!  I staged this card with more Slim Line Rainbow Envelopes

Next up is one of my favorites from the January Release.  My love for clouds goes back to my 7 year-old-self, lying on the grass watching the clouds fly across the sky.  My much older self still loves watching clouds and I love putting them on cards.  Picket Fence Studios is releasing two new stencils for cloud making.  On this card I am featuring the 52 Layers of Clouds Stencil and the Slim Line Rising Sun Stencil.  The Slim Line Short Grass Die is fabulous and extends the full length of a slimline card!  I added "thinking of you" from the More Fancy Sentiments set and now you can purchase the Coordinating Die for exquisite sentiment styling!  I couldn't resist adding the bird silhouettes from the Sleeping Tree Set. Lastly, in the background of the card, I show two of the beautiful envelopes from the Slim Line Rainbow Envelopes.

I have so much to share so I hope you will join me tomorrow either on the PFS Blog or here for a look at more NEW Release samples!  For a look at ALL of the new items right now click  HERE.
Thanks so much for stopping by and taking a look today!

January IO Favorites Hop & Giveaway

Hello!  Welcome to the new Impression Obsession Favorites Hop!   I think it's going to be a blast seeing what the team favorites are for January! Not only is it going to be fun to check out the favorites but there will be prizes given away too!  Check out all the details listed below!

It's always hard to choose a favorite but the next two cards are among my favorites.  The first is the fun Crayon Element and the Sit in Silence sentiment.  There are a lot of different ways to use the Crayon Element stamp but I think it's fun to use it as a rainbow.  I added a cat from the Cat Set because there is nothing sweeter than having my cat on my lap while I am playing on my phone.  :)  By the way in our house having a cat on the lap gets you service!  "can you please get me a drink? I have the cat on my lap."  Doesn't matter who you are, one of us will serve the other when the elderly cat is on a lap!  :)  Of course, this sentiment could also be used for a significant other!  It's nice to hang out with my husband in silence and play on the phone!  Today we celebrate 31 years.  It's pretty cool after a year like we just had, that we can say, we would still rather be with one another than anyone else!

Next up, I stamped this lovely Together in Love sentiment on a Postage Stamp Cuts.  I added the sweet flower from the versatile Ribbon Box set.  I think the Ribbon Box is such a great value because there are so many ways to create with it!

Both of my favorites cards were inspired by this week's Art Nudge #43.
My colors are a little different but both cards are descriptive of the photo.  Togetherness, closeness, just plain hanging out together.

Now for the fun Hop Details: We will be giving away THREE Impression Obsession Grab Bags - so the more you comment through our Favorites Hop the more chances to win! Comments will be open until Monday, January 18th at midnight CT. All winners will be announced on Tuesday, January 19th on the Impression Obsession Blog.

The new stamps are available now! You can find them all HERE.

Next up is the super talented Anna Wight.  If you started the hop at my place, make sure that one of your stops is the Impression Obsession Blog!  :)  Good luck and thanks so much for stopping by!
